Traction and stability in various circumstances

The Vibram Ultrafly outsole is slimmer and lighter than a traditional outsole. The sticky rubber works with a chevron lug pattern. That provides grip on both uphill climbs and downhill descents, even in wet weather.

For the stability, you can count on a flat bottom and minimized cross rocker. Specifically engineered zones of support in the midfoot give you a secure and lightweight feel.
