Withstand the toughest conditions
The Mount to Coast C135 is a special edition of the C1, created for the challenge of Badwater® 135 – a running race covering 135 miles across Death Valley up three mountain ranges. It’s considered the world’s toughest foot race. That asks for specific qualities of your running shoes.
Dual-layer midsole design
The dual-layer midsole exists of a durable CircleCELL foam and a rubberized EVA layer to provide support and stability. That guarantees a comfortable cushioning while remaining ultra-lightweight.
Breathable, fast-drying upper
The woven mesh upper is ultralight, fast-drying and breathable and is thus engineered for the toughest conditions of the Badwater® 135 course.
Reflective coating
The Badwater® 135 covers 135 miles and the start time is late in the evening. That means at least one night running on desert roads. To make sure runners stay visible, the C135 incorporates a highly reflective coating on the midsole.
Dual lacing system
In the pursuit of distance, your feet can swell and change shape. To guarantee a personal fit, the TUNEDFIT™ Dual Lacing system offers a separately customizable fit for your fore- and midfoot.
