For this new series of the Metaspeed Edge, Asics made some valuable updates. In a nutshell: the shoe is a lot faster, so you can cross the finish line in a record time. The shoe is perfect for those runners who increase their cadence when they speed up.

Softer midsole

The first big update with the previous version, is the midsole. The foam is lighter and softer. The propulsive carbon fiber plate is more curved to help you conserve more energy in each step. That way, you experience the soft feeling of the softer foam.

Lighter weight

The lighter a shoe, the faster. That’s basically a fact about race shoes. That’s why Asics cut in weight for this Asics Metaspeed Edge Paris. The upper is therefore lighter, and at the same time more breathable. Win-win.
