Hybrid running shoes

Road-to-trail running shoes

Hybrid running shoes combine the best of both worlds: road and trail. They provide enough cushioning to absorb shock from the landing on asphalt. At the same time, the firm outsole creates traction on uneven trails. With a road-to-trail running shoe, you go smoothly from city to forest.

The difference between hybrid shoes and trail running shoes? Trail running shoes have lugs for traction. The disadvantage is that these lugs wear out faster when running on asphalt. The lugs of hybrid shoes are less prominent and thus less prone to wear, but they still provide enough traction on trail or gravel.
