New endurance score
A fitness score designed for endurance athletes. It analyzes the complex relationship between an athlete’s fitness level, training history, and training load focus to help track the ability to keep going. It’s dynamic number that reflects your ability to sustain continuous efforts during longer activities. It responds to your training patterns and changes in your aerobic fitness level.
New Gen5 WHR
The new GEN5 WHR brings various improvements: better signal through additional LEDs and better spatially divers optical paths, improved processing which are empowered by the better signal quality. This will lead to enhances performance across a wide range of activities.
New hill score
Hill score reveals your current capability for running uphill and evaluates your progress over time based on your VO2 max and training history. The primary metric is an overall score while two supporting metrics give you insights into how well you’re able to sustain longer ascents (climb endurance) or power-up steeper inclines (climb strength). As an enhancement to the history app, ascent totals will be added for running and cycling. For trail run activities, a grade distribution chart will be added to the post-activity summary that will show a runner’s accumulated distances at varying grade percentages throughout their run.
