Fast racing shoe with numerous improvements
The Saucony Endorphin Pro is the fastest shoe Saucony has ever developed. With improved stability and an outsole that has extra grip, this fast, updated version of the shoe makes itself more accessible on slightly rougher surfaces.
Weight saving through a midsole cutout
Following other brands, Saucony is also introducing midsole cutouts under the foot that are most likely for weight savings.
PWRRUN
The midsole itself uses PWRRUN PB formula and plate as we know it from the previous models. The width of the midsole also changed: both the forefoot and rearfoot widened by 3-4 mm, resulting in more foam underfoot and improved stability. Therefore, it is now probably one of the best race day options for runners who need stability in their running shoes.
Better grip
After two years with a fairly similar pattern, the outsole gets a complete overhaul. Small studs in the forefoot area that improve traction over its predecessors. This now also makes it possible to run fast on a slightly worse surface, for example during your local parkrun.
Super lightweight upper
The upper of the new Endorphin Pro 3 is a very open two-layer mesh that couldn't be more breathable. There are even large vents cut out of the tongue to save more weight and let more air into the shoe. The tongue padding is minimal but fine.
